Quotations and changes

A quotation is subject to the stated scope and site conditions. Any extra work or price change should be explained and agreed before it is carried out, except where immediate action is needed to make the site safe. Ask for the total price including applicable taxes and any additional charges in writing.

Work and your rights

Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Where a time or price has not been agreed, statutory rules on a reasonable time and reasonable price may apply. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights. Any written guarantee offered for a particular job is additional to those rights; request its duration, exclusions and claim process in writing.

Payment and concerns

Follow the payment schedule stated in your agreed quotation. Report concerns promptly using the details on our complaints page. See cancellation rights for applicable off-premises and distance contracts.
